I stumbled upon Pearl completely by accident, but I was instantly memorized. She's just so long, level, and angular. Once I started looking into her background, I knew I had to have her.

Pearl comes from a long line of exceptional goats out on the west coast. Pholia Farm former owner Gianaclis Caldwell even wrote the popular book "Holistic Goat Care" that sits on my shelf and has faithfully guided me along my journey of taking more of a holistic approach.

She has only freshened once so far, but her udder has been the softest yet in my herd and she peaked milking a little short of 2 lbs (once a day milking). I look forward to retaining doelings out of her and seeing her in her second freshening.
