Goats For Sale

Please read and understand this policy before sending a deposit for a goat.

•Goats will range from $100 (pet wethers) to 600 depending on age, pedigree, awards won, milk production, and conformation.

•It is FREE to be added to a general interest list. In these cases, I will contact everyone when kids are on the ground with photos and descriptions and at that time they may choose to put down a deposit or not. This is on a first come, first serve basis. If you are wanting to be contacted first or want a kid from a specific breeding, a $50 deposit is required (read below for information on reserving a kid).

•A $50, non-refundable deposit is required on purchases of any goat or kid and the remaining balance is due upon pickup. We will discuss pickup timeframe for adult or weaned goat kids, unweaned goat kids must be picked up based on the below listed timeframes. After that time, a $5/day boarding fee will be applied until pickup. However, this will be waived if you are waiting for another kid to be ready for pickup, and MAY be waived under special circumstances (you must contact me to discuss).

Bucklings are generally pulled at 2 days and sold on the bottle at 2-3 weeks. Bottle baby doelings are available, if that is your preference, but your deposit must be received prior to 1 week and pickup by 2-3 weeks.

Dual bottle and dam raised babies are sold between 8-10 weeks for bucklings and 10-12 weeks for doelings. It is encouraged to continue to feed your goat a bottle once a day for continued growth and bonding!

•A $50, non-refundable deposit must be placed to hold a reservation on a SPECIFIC breeding (it is FREE to be added to the general interest list, just message me). If the reservation is unfulfilled, your deposit will be returned, or you may use it for another available kid, or use it to hold your spot for the next year. Generally, reservation kids must be picked up within 2 weeks of weaning. After that time, a $5/day boarding fee will be applied until pickup. However, this will be waived if you are waiting for another kid to be ready for pickup, and MAY be waived under special circumstances (you must contact me to discuss).

•Once a goat leaves our property, there are no refunds. We may be willing to accept the goat back under certain circumstances, however we cannot refund as when we accept a goat back we must quarantine, send in blood work, and buy extra hay and feed. Exceptions are made in cases of CH, extra teats, or a proven sterile goat. Exceptions MAY be made in the event of a family death, unforeseen illness, or natural disaster. Certain goats we may ask for first right of refusal should the buyer decide to sell, and in that case, price will be negotiated based on many factors.

•The health of your goat  is guaranteed on the day of homing as follows:
There are no visible signs of disease, diarrhea, eye or nasal discharge, infections, wounds, abscesses, broken bones or other deformities. We guarantee that the goat is healthy to the best of our knowledge at the time of sale. We cannot guarantee that the goat will not pick up an illness, ailment or injury during its lifetime. We will not promise goats personality, fertility, promise of wins or successful production.
We cannot guarantee how well a goat will place at a show. I do not and cannot guarantee that any goat purchased from me will win at a show or become a Grand Champion as this is near impossible to predict. I also cannot guarantee any goat sold will be a good breeder or a good mother, even if they have produced for me.
Once a goat leaves our hands and is transported by anyone other than us we have no responsibility whatsoever if something happens to the goat  in transport.
You are fully responsible for checking the goat  from head to toe at the time of pick up. If this is not done and later a problem is found, no replacements or refunds will be made and the sale is final.

•We reserve the right to cancel any sale or reservation at any time (with a full refund of any deposit made) as we put the health and well-being of our goats above any sale.

Reservations

•We do reserve the right to retain first choice of kids. Reservations will be contacted with an available goat and given 48 hours to respond before the next reservation is contacted.

•If you request a goat not be disbudded, payment will be required in full and will be non refundable.

•Deposits are applied towards the purchase of your goat.

•Deposits can be made through Venmo, Cash App, or cash.
